  This is the first time I'm writing in a long time. I recently discovered I write like I have ADHD. Funny thing right? According to the study, I write like I'm having a conversation... Low-key it's true, I write like I'm talking to the text. That aside, I'm writing about the parallel society we live in. Where everything is set into two parts. It always ends up being "for" or "against" as the only stands you can take. Where if you're not in agreement with one side of the coin, by default you're on the other side. Nobody can be on the fence or on another coin. Every other coin is considered inferior to the two popular ones. Being open-minded can be really tough sometimes. Most of us are brought up with a set of beliefs and values and, throughout our lives, tend to surround ourselves with people who share the same values and beliefs. Therefore, it can be difficult when we're faced with ideas that challenge our own and, though we may wish to be open-minded, we may struggle with the act of it from time to time .  Though it can be tough to do sometimes, I've always found that when I open my mind, I've reaped a lot of rewarding benefits. There is much to be gained from opening the door to your mind and letting new ideas and beliefs come in.
